Käthe von Nagy wanted to get married at the age of 16, therefore, her parents put her in the Santa Chrisitana Convent, near Vienna. After that, she worked in her father's office and besides started to secretly write short stories for newspapers. In Budapest, she studied acting, dancing and singing, but her parents were not very happy. In 1926, she went to Berlin to make movies. She got a small part in the film _Männer von der Ehe (1927)_ and _Wien, du Stadt meiner Träume (1927)_ "Vienna, City of My Dreams". In 1930, she went into talkies with Der Andere (1930). She also made the French version of "Bomben auf Monte Carlo" (1931). In the German film, Anna Sten played the part. In 1938, she played in "Finale" ("Die Unruhigen Mädchen", "Les Sourires de Vienne"). After that she made 6 films in France. Her last one was Die Försterchristl (1952), alongside Johanna Matz. Born in Subotica 1924. Studied directing at the Academy for Theater, Film and Television in Belgrade. He began his career as a theater director, first in the National theater in Nis and later in Belgrade. As the same time he acquired his experience at Television Belgrade, directing TV dramas, films, shows and series. He made his debut as a feature film director in 1974 with the very popular film The Written Offs (Otpisani, 1974). He directed some of the most popular Yugoslav films: The Written Offs Return (Povratak otpisanih, 1976), Let's Love Each Other (Hajde da se volimo, 1987), A Tigar Spot 3 (Tesna koza 3, 1988), Balkan Express 2 (Balkan ekspres 2, 1989) etc..- Director

Graduated film and TV direction at Academy of Dramatic Arts (ADU) in Zagreb in 1999, his student short Saying Goodbye / Rastanak (1993) was included in the New Direction programme of The First Film Foundation in London, a selection of six outstanding films by promising European directors. Since 2003 he has been permanently working for the national television (HRT), directing documentaries, educational programmes, series and a short feature entitled Freeze Frame / Zamrznuti kadar (1999). He finished Theater and Film Academy in Zagreb and graduated from Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. He has made over 200 documentaries, in which he was a screenwriter, director and cameraman. He also filmed feature films and TV series. Lalovic's vocation are metaphorical films about nature, for which he won over 150 awards both in Yugoslavia and abroad. His long feature film Ptice koje ne polete (Some Birds Can't Fly) received more than 20 awards, including four Grand Prix in Europe.
